VUTEk 3360 Grand Format Printer

For the first time, get the durability of 3M™ inks and media in a production grand format digital printing system. Austin Graphics' VUTEK 3360 from EFI are 126" wide piezoelectric inkjet printers which use special 3M™ inks and media for outdoor applications, all backed by a 3M™ warranty.

Oce' LightJet 5000

The Lightjet 5000 Wide Format Printer is capable of direct photographic prints up to 48" x 96” in one piece from a digital file onto backlit or reflective display materials. It uses a three laser light source (red, green and blue) to expose light sensitive photographic substrates. Print surfaces include: Glossy photographic paper, Ilfochrome (a polyester-based, archival-quality media) and Duratrans (translucent, backlit display material).

The optimum resolution for the Lightjet 5000 is Between 305 dpi to 406 dpi at final output size; Inkjet and electrostatic printers, which simulate continuous-tone with a dot pattern, would need to image at 4000 dpi to achieve the same photographic resolution.

No other process  (optical or digital) can  match the Lightjet 5000 for sharpness, color quality and image control. By eliminating the intermediate film, processing and enlargement stages, this technology provides a number of advantages over conventional means; Huge, stunning prints without the usual intermediate steps that degrade image quality.

Designed specifically for professional and production graphic artists the NovaJet 700 series is perfect for large format displays, comps, portfolios, presentations and other marketing projects. Long printing jobs or big batch runs are no problem with Austin Graphics' NovaJet 700's, because large ink reservoirs assure continuous ink flow. No ink cartridges to run dry in the middle of a print job - we just refill the ink reservoirs on the fly during normal printing.

With the addition of the 8-color ENCAD Novajet 850, creative possibilities are pushed to the limit. The Novajet 850 features ENCAD's proprietary Octachrome™ ink technology, enabling the flexibility to handle any photographic application with breathtaking colors and smooth tonal graduations. Octachrome™ not only utilizes light cyan and light magenta inks along with standard four-color process inks—a technique offered by most 6-color printers—but takes it two steps further with the addition of orange and green inks, opening the color gamut up to new possibilities.

We offer full color presentations in sizes up to 60" wide by up to 100'. Original files don't need to be rebuilt to size, as our RIP system will enlarge your document to the requested size. This allows you to maintain a manageable file size and lets you use documents you might already have built for other projects. We recommend raster images (such as from Adobe Photoshop) used for large format displays to be 100 dpi at 100% of the finished size, and to be saved without compression (such as ZIP, JPEG and LZW). Vector art (from Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand and CorelDraw) can be increased to any size because it is resolution independent. GIF and JPEG file formats will fall apart when output and are not recommended.

Zund L-3000 Cutting System

If your project only requires cutting, you can simply provide us with an .AI file or a .DXF file and we can take your project straight to production on the Zund. If your project is a combination graphic production and digital die cutting, then you can simply provide us with your graphic file, or have us design one for you and we can produce it on one of our high end digital presses and finish it on the Zund.
